How to Create a Tenant Web Portal Account

Getting Started

By now, you have likely received an invitation from Rentroom or your landlord inviting you to create an online portal for rent payments, maintenance, etc. 

To get started either click the link that you have received via text or email communication. Additionally, you could head to https://admin.getrentroom.com/tenantwebsignup  or alternatively you could visit the App Store or Google Play Store to download our mobile apps(recommended). 

Signing Up on Mobile

1. Download our app here: https://link-to.app/0sbb6Cjt
2. Open Rentroom
3. Select "Don't have an account. Sing up!"
4. Enter your phone number 
   • Please note: Use the phone number that your property manager or owner presumably has on file for you.
   • Select "Next"
   • Rentroom will search for a matching profile. This may take up to 30 seconds - we are searching through our entire database of thousands of tenants. 
     • If Rentroom cannot find a match, you are either not in the system or the property manager or owner has the wrong number on file for you
     • If this is the case, please reach out to your landlord or Rentroom support
5. Enter an email and password for the next time you login
6. Done

Signing Up on Web

1. Navigate to https://admin.getrentroom.com/tenantwebsignup in your browser
2. Fill out all required fields
   • Rentroom will search for a matching profile. This may take up to 30 seconds - we are searching through our entire database of thousands of tenants. 
   • If Rentroom cannot find a match, you are either not in the system or the property manager or owner has the wrong number on file for you
   • If this is the case, please reach out to your landlord or Rentroom support
3. Done
